Desarrollador ITSM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Panama.

📋 Description

• Set up workflows for incident, change, and request management, including resolution groups and workflow configurations.

• Develop and modify event-correlation rules to enable automatic ticket generation.

• Modify the ServiceNow/iTop CMDB to meet operational requirements.

• Execute parameterization, configuration, and development to facilitate incident and change processes, ensuring integration with the automation ecosystem.

• Conduct testing of developments and parameterizations, document the processes, and deploy to production upon receiving approval.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in PHP versions 8.1–8.2.

• Experience with Apache and Nginx.

• Familiarity with Linux distributions (Rocky/Ubuntu).

• Knowledge of MariaDB 10.x+, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.

• Understanding of the iTop data model (XML): classes, attributes, relationships, and state machines (lifecycle).

• Proficient in OQL (iTop’s Object Query Language).

• Experience in packaging modules/extensions (module manifest.xml, dictionaries, setup).

• Knowledge of triggers/notifications: actions, email templates, and event handlers.

• Familiarity with the iTop portal toolkit/Twig-like templates, UI forms, and wizards.

• Experience with REST/JSON API exposure and consumption.

• Understanding of profiles/ACLs and organizations for multi-tenant visibility.

• Proficiency in HTML/CSS/JS for forms, portal adjustments, and validations.

• Experience with Git, Composer, Make, or basic scripting.

• Familiarity with PHPUnit or at least PHP unit testing.

• Docker experience is optional for development parity.
