Desarrollador FullStack, Java - React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.

📋 Description

• Support the complete technological migration of a legacy sales portal following the acquisition of Security by BICE.

• Transfer existing business logic from .NET 6 with Angular to a solution built on Java, Quarkus, MuleSoft, Hasura, and React.

• Gradually migrate 100% of the application.

• Develop backend services using Java and Quarkus under the defined hexagonal architecture.

• Connect Quarkus, MuleSoft, and Hasura through GraphQL and REST APIs.

• Adapt the frontend in React to consume the migrated services.

• Migrate, test, and validate each service before proceeding to the next component.

• Integrate the solution with existing AWS Lambda functions and AWS Secrets Manager.

• Manage changes using Git and avoid conflicts with the team maintaining the current application.

• Work autonomously while implementing the architecture and patterns defined by the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid experience in developing backend services with Java and Quarkus.

• Experience working with MuleSoft and Hasura within an integration layer.

• Experience developing frontends with React and consuming services.

• Approximately five years of experience in software development.

• Ability to read and understand .NET 6 code, layered structures, object types, and dependency injection.

• Experience implementing integrations and exposing or consuming services via GraphQL.

• Experience developing microservices and their communication through REST APIs.

• Sufficient knowledge to implement a previously defined hexagonal architecture.

• Experience integrating services with existing AWS Lambda functions.

• Experience implementing connections with AWS Secrets Manager.

• Experience working with Git repositories and branches in teams with simultaneous modifications.

• Ability to navigate legacy code and independently resolve programming, structure, object, and dependency injection questions.

• Desirable: experience migrating applications from .NET to Java or Quarkus.

• Desirable: senior experience in Java with Spring Boot if direct experience in Quarkus is lacking.

• Desirable: experience using GitHub Copilot.

• Desirable for senior profile: ability to provide technical coordination.
