Desarrollador Backend, Perl, PostgreSQL

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement adjustments for the automatic recalculation of premiums due to age changes and the application of senior coverage schemes (+70).

• Configure and integrate premium calculations for Health Catastrophic Insurance solutions (Web Assisted).

• Design and optimize complex queries and data structures in PostgreSQL to support pricing rules and business calculations.

• Collaborate closely with the QA team to resolve issues and make adjustments post-testing.

• Develop and maintain the backend on core platforms using Perl and PostgreSQL databases.

• Ensure the correct execution of financial and calculation logic for health products and senior coverage.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current residence in Chile (Mandatory).

• Immediate availability.

• Proven advanced experience in development with Perl (Mandatory).

• Advanced proficiency in relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL (Mandatory).

• Previous experience implementing business logic or calculation engines in regulated sectors (Banking, Insurance, or Fintech).
