This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Aid in the establishment and configuration of the DERMS environment across both cloud and on-premise systems.
• Assist in the configuration of the DERMS application for use cases involving distributed energy resource setup, forecasting, optimization, and control.
• Support the integration setup with enterprise and operational technologies.
• Carry out solution testing, which includes preparing tests, validating test data, performing functional checks, documenting defects, and providing regression support.
• Develop and update technical documentation, encompassing configuration notes, testing evidence, checkout records, runbooks, and updates to standard operating procedures.
• Contribute to troubleshooting and operational readiness initiatives by analyzing logs, monitoring data, and evaluating test results.
• Engage in team reviews and ongoing improvement initiatives to ensure a reliable, resilient, and scalable DERMS solution.
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related computer field.
• Minimum GPA requirement of 2.5.
• Engineering student seeking practical experience with modern grid technology, software configuration, system integration, and solution testing.
• Capability to work under supervision and assist with both cloud and on-premise DERMS environments.
