This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +4 more states.
• Recruit, guide, develop, and retain Dermatology Sales Representatives within the designated district.
• Create, execute, and assess strategic business plans to achieve sales targets.
• Achieve or surpass sales objectives for specific products and portfolios through direct oversight of sales representatives.
• Provide consistent performance updates to sales directors.
• Engage in face-to-face customer sales meetings with representatives approximately four days each week.
• Organize and carry out district sales meetings.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations.
• Participate in company-sponsored events and gatherings.
• Recruit, select, and train Sales Representatives.
• Establish coaching metrics for immediate and long-term performance assessments.
• Lead, mentor, and create career development plans.
• Analyze sales data, performance metrics, and market trends.
• Develop strategies to generate product demand and increase sales revenue.
• Monitor competitor activities and their products.
• Provide progress reports to home-office teams.
• Identify market opportunities and share best practices.
• Foster positive team norms and enhance functional skills.
• Oversee and manage district expenditures.
• Act as a liaison between the district, field sales management, Human Resources, Marketing, and Finance.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with key healthcare professionals across the district.
• Cover the states of Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, Kansas, and Minnesota.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• At least seven years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry.
• A minimum of three years in sales leadership or management roles.
• Experience in the Dermatology market is highly preferred.
• A successful track record in hiring, coaching, developing, retaining, and promoting top talent.
• Proven capability to effectively drive team performance.
• Demonstrated success and a positive history as a District Sales Manager in intricate markets and systems.
• Strong understanding of the payer landscape, reimbursement processes, government programs, managed healthcare, and evolving healthcare systems.
• Established ability to cultivate physician and key customer relationships.
• Ability to collaborate and partner with internal departments and stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel extensively with a local and regional focus.
• Regular overnight travel might be necessary.
• Must be a resident of the US or Puerto Rico.
• Must fulfill applicable travel and credentialing requirements, including vaccination prerequisites.
• A valid driving license is required.
