This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +4 more states.
• Recruit, guide, develop, and retain Dermatology Sales Representatives within the designated district.
• Create, execute, and assess strategic business plans aimed at achieving sales targets and adhering to regulatory standards.
• Achieve or surpass sales objectives for specific products and portfolios by directly managing sales representatives.
• Provide consistent performance updates to sales directors.
• Engage in face-to-face customer sales meetings with representatives approximately four days each week.
• Organize and conduct district sales meetings and perform regular performance assessments.
• Take part in company-sponsored events and meetings.
• Identify, select, and train high-performing Sales Representatives.
• Establish coaching metrics for immediate and ongoing performance evaluations.
• Lead, mentor, and create career development plans for district representatives.
• Analyze sales data, performance metrics, and trends to implement demand-generation and revenue strategies.
• Observe competitor activities and products, providing updates to home-office teams.
• Recognize marketplace opportunities, share best practices, and communicate throughout the organization.
• Foster positive team norms that align with company culture and performance expectations.
• Oversee and manage district expenditures to comply with budget constraints.
• Act as a liaison between the district, field sales management, Human Resources, Marketing, and Finance.
• Build and maintain relationships with key healthcare professionals in the district.
• Cover the states of Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, Kansas, and Minnesota.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• A minimum of seven years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry.
• At least three years of experience in sales leadership or management.
• Experience in the Dermatology market is strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of hiring, coaching, developing, retaining, and promoting top talent.
• Demonstrated capability to effectively lead team performance.
• Strong performance history and integrity as a District Sales Manager in complex markets and systems.
• In-depth understanding of payer environments, reimbursement processes, and national, regional, and local payer markets.
• Established ability to cultivate physician and key customer relationships.
• Proven ability to collaborate and partner with internal departments and stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel extensively with local and regional influence.
• Regular overnight travel may be necessary.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to meet applicable travel and credentialing requirements, including vaccination prerequisites.
• Must be a resident of the US or Puerto Rico; no visa sponsorship is available.
