This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Take full ownership of strategic enterprise deployments from initial planning through to production go-live and ensuring customer self-sufficiency.
• Establish defined workflows, fixed timelines, engagement exit criteria, scope, capacity, and approvals for Statements of Work (SOW).
• Collaborate with Sales on expansion efforts while managing committed scope, timelines, and capacity.
• Develop and maintain engagement plans that include milestones, workstreams, responsible parties, dependencies, and a weekly status review cadence.
• Oversee customer-related dependencies such as data access, security and IT evaluations, environment setup, and stakeholder availability.
• Handle risks, issues, escalations, delivery quality, acceptance criteria, evaluations, testing, validation, production readiness, go-live, and hypercare activities.
• Guide customer enablement through comprehensive training, documentation, and change management processes.
• Monitor effort, budget, and capacity, while flagging any potential timeline or cost-related risks.
• Provide leadership, prioritization, and technical guidance to Forward Deployed Engineers and Customer Solutions Engineers.
• Lead executive communications with customer sponsors.
• Assist with post-go-live technical outcomes, customer adoption, and the scoping of subsequent workflows.
• Conduct post-engagement reviews and incorporate field learning into product and platform priorities.
• Create reusable delivery patterns, templates, integration components, and reference architectures.
• Work alongside the account’s Executive Advisor to incorporate domain expertise into scoping and validate outputs.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing complex enterprise technical deployments from start to finish.
• Background as a forward deployed engineer, technical program manager, solutions architect, or delivery lead in a technical consultancy or enterprise software firm.
• Proven experience in executing multi-workstream enterprise deployments to ensure on-time go-live, managing critical-path customer dependencies.
• Technical proficiency in cloud architecture, APIs, data pipelines, and integration patterns.
• An engineering or technical background is essential.
• Ability to maintain scope discipline with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent written communication skills and attention to document quality.
• Demonstrated executive presence with VP- and C-level customer sponsors.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity.
• Willingness to travel as required for client implementation activities.
• Preferred: experience with on-premise, VPC, or air-gapped deployments in regulated sectors.
• Preferred: understanding of GxP, HIPAA, SOC 2, or comparable compliance and validation frameworks.
• Preferred: experience at a company utilizing a forward deployed engineering model.
• Preferred: practical experience with AI/ML workflows, model deployment, or agent orchestration.
• Preferred: history of transforming one-off engagements into repeatable delivery processes.
