This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the complete deployment and migration process for enterprise Email/SMS clients, from technical discovery to production launch.
• Facilitate technical discovery and implementation workshops, converting client needs into scalable messaging frameworks.
• Evaluate current ESP and messaging systems and create migration strategies.
• Manage configuration, integration, testing, validation, cutover, and launch readiness among technical and business stakeholders.
• Oversee SMS provisioning and implementation, which includes sender setup and registration, consent and preference workflows, as well as carrier, regulatory, and provisioning requirements.
• Collaborate with Deliverability Specialists on sender authentication, domain and IP strategies, warm-up procedures, reputation management, and deliverability preparedness.
• Serve as a reliable technical advisor, identifying architectural choices, risks, and obstacles.
• Work alongside Product and Engineering teams to tackle implementation hurdles and relay customer insights and product deficiencies.
• Develop repeatable frameworks, documentation, tools, and best practices for scalable enterprise implementations.
• 5–10 years of experience in technical implementation, solutions architecture, professional services, or a comparable customer-facing technical position.
• Proven experience in implementing or migrating enterprise email, SMS, marketing automation, or customer engagement platforms.
• Solid technical background in APIs, webhooks, data integrations, authentication, and enterprise architecture.
• Comprehensive understanding of messaging architecture, including sending domains and IPs, subscriber data management, consent and preference handling, and the distinction between transactional and marketing messaging.
• Experience in SMS provisioning and implementation, covering 10DLC, toll-free or short code registration, consent management, and carrier specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex enterprise implementations across various technical teams, business stakeholders, and dependencies.
• Strong skills in technical project management, communication, and facilitation, with the capability to drive multiple implementations and influence technical decision-making.
• Experience in developing implementation processes and frameworks that scale with product and organizational growth.
• Familiarity with platforms such as Adobe Campaign, MoEngage, Marketo, Eloqua, Attentive, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Iterable, Responsys, SendGrid, Twilio, or similar is a significant advantage.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
