Dental Consultant – Orthodontist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Approve or reject predeterminations and claims by analyzing radiographs and/or related documentation in line with member plan benefits, utilizing Overjet’s dental AI technology.

• Assess appeals, solicit additional information, revise claim decisions, and provide further recommendations.

• Relay claim review results to participating dentists and plan members.

• Engage in training and calibration sessions.

• Offer consistent feedback to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of claims review.

⛳️ Requirements

• D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree from an accredited dental institution.

• Board certification in Orthodontics.

• At least 5 years of clinical experience.

• Prior claims review experience is highly preferred (2+ years).

• Active, unrestricted dental license.

• Familiarity with CDT codes and dental procedures.

• Strong computer skills and comfort with remote platforms (e.g., Zoom).

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
