Demand Planning Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee a product portfolio and facilitate the complete demand planning process.

• Manage product portfolios that are primarily driven by statistical forecasting.

• Upload and sustain demand forecasts.

• Implement forecast adjustments and realignments.

• Aid forecasting activities linked to open sales orders using the FDO process.

• Maintain percentages for forecast changes and parameters for statistical forecasting.

• Compare statistical forecasts with machine learning forecasts and aggregated demand signals.

• Create, manage, and refine CVCs (Characteristic Value Combinations).

• Keep Demand Planning IDs and associated planning master data up to date.

• Assist with EDI mapping initiatives.

• Validate demand planning drivers and assumptions used in planning.

• Support PIPO (Phase-In/Phase-Out) and NPI (New Product Introduction) initiatives.

• Carry out commercial and forecast realignments.

• Conduct outlier analysis and investigate forecasting discrepancies.

• Review changes in ASP (Average Selling Price) and their impact on demand.

• Perform reviews of post-dated orders and exception checks.

• Support weekly and monthly demand review processes.

• Assist with additional forecasting and demand review tasks required by local business teams.

• Respond to ad hoc business inquiries and planning analyses.

• Collaborate closely with regional Demand Planning teams across EMEA, LATAM, China, Asia, and USAC business divisions.

• Ensure data integrity in forecasts, support planning system readiness, and guarantee seamless planning operations during program deployments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Demand Planning.

• Strong comprehension of the operational demand planning cycle.

• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, healthcare, technology, consumer goods, or related sectors.

• Proven experience in managing complex product portfolios.

• Hands-on experience with SAP APO-DP is mandatory.

• Familiarity with demand forecasting tools and planning systems, preferably Kinaxis.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Proficiency in English is required for all positions.

• Spanish proficiency is preferred for roles supporting LATAM.

• Chinese/Mandarin proficiency is preferred for roles supporting China.

• Additional proficiency in Asian languages is considered a plus.

• Successful candidates must undergo employment verification and background checks.

• Verification of job titles and employment dates with two previous employers is necessary.
