This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Take charge of inventory decisions and transactions for the Depot.
• Develop and oversee transfer orders to Depots utilizing Oracle Fusion.
• Manage parameters related to Depot inventory.
• Produce actionable insights to aid in the formation and execution of supply chain strategies.
• Anticipate demand and optimize inventory levels to fulfill customer requirements while minimizing expenses.
• Offer analysis and recommendations to cross-functional teams.
• Review, approve, and generate internal transfer orders to allocate inventory to Depots.
• Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure prompt and efficient order fulfillment.
• Evaluate and update optimal inventory levels for the Depot.
• Suggest supplier order modifications to the Supply Planner.
• Revise and assess forecast accuracy reports, recommending forecast adjustments to the Demand Planner.
• Present forecast accuracy findings during the S&OP process.
• Detect supply-demand discrepancies and align forecasts and plans with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations.
• Recognize risks and opportunities within the supply-demand network and propose necessary adjustments.
• At least 2+ years of experience in MRP demand planning, supply chain planning, inventory/order management, or a related analytical role.
• A minimum of 2+ years of experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems.
• Exceptional analytical abilities, particularly in Excel, to aggregate and summarize extensive historical data while identifying trends or issues.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a deep sense of ownership and dedication to performance excellence.
• Capability to convey complex data to non-technical stakeholders, including those in Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
• Robust cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly when working with internal customers.
• Understanding of how demand influences inventory, production, and distribution.
• Insight into how market trends, sales strategies, and external factors affect demand.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
