Delivery Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Serve as a reliable technical consultant for clients.

• Oversee the design, integration, and execution of advanced energy management systems.

• Develop and implement GE GridOS DERMS solutions tailored to client requirements.

• Work closely with Technical Leads and Solution Specialists on solution architecture and the consulting and delivery process.

• Assist the GEV DevOps team in deploying GE GridOS DERMS solutions within client environments.

• Engage with utility clients to assess the impacts of distributed energy resources and convert business challenges into requirements and system designs.

• Enhance deployment processes through automation and scripting techniques.

• Lead testing, validation, and training efforts specific to clients.

• Develop business cases and new product requirements based on client procedures and policies.

• Manage technical risks, analyze performance metrics, and support pre-sales and expansion initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Capacity to design and implement enterprise-grade software solutions.

• Experience with database connectors.

• Knowledge of contemporary electricity industry operations, including Distributed Energy Resources (DERs), distribution planning, and SCADA systems.

• Proficiency in Requirements Management, converting business needs into design specifications and test cases.

• Capability to architect complex systems.

• Strong IT Enterprise Architecture expertise, encompassing ITNW (IT Network), data flow, and intricate software application deployments.

• Enthusiasm for adopting emerging technologies to address real-world energy challenges.

• Formal education in Engineering or a related field with a focus on power systems is preferable.
