Delivery Manager – Generation Flex

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the complete onboarding and delivery process for Generation Flex assets, which include BESS, wind, and solar assets.

• Oversee assets from initial discovery and technical analysis to site design, installation, configuration, commissioning, testing, and final handover into live service.

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Generation Flex product and the KrakenFlex SaaS platform.

• Integrate physical site and electrical/control systems with the KrakenFlex software architecture.

• Collaborate with Product and Software Engineering teams to grasp capabilities, configuration needs, and technical limitations.

• Convey customer, electrical engineering, and SaaS/product requirements across various teams.

• Comprehend the full data and control pathways through meters, PPCs, gateways, communications infrastructure, and KrakenFlex.

• Ensure that customer use cases are accurately represented in telemetry, controls, configuration, integrations, and product modules.

• Articulate physical and software integration strategies to customers.

• Identify product deficiencies, constraints, dependencies, and recurring onboarding issues.

• Act as the primary contact for customer delivery during the site onboarding process.

• Coordinate technical information with Electrical Engineering and Customer Success Engineering teams.

• Review customer technical documents, including SLDs, network diagrams, asset specifications, PPC/controller documentation, Modbus maps, IP information, functional design specifications, metering, telemetry, hardware, and connectivity needs.

• Manage Kraken integration documentation and the delivery and installation of gateways.

• Oversee readiness for gateway connectivity, operational acceptance testing, and Kraken market/service testing.

• Manage delivery risks, communicate mitigation strategies, highlight blockers, and maintain visibility on site status.

• Continuously enhance the Generation Flex onboarding process in collaboration with Engineering, Product, and Operations teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong technical expertise and confidence in working with electrical systems, control systems, and networking.

• Practical knowledge of industrial networking and communications, including IP addressing, LANs, routers, switches, VPNs, and site connectivity.

• Understanding of electrical engineering concepts related to metering, breakers, transformers, generators, inverters, batteries, and asset control systems.

• Proven experience in delivering technical projects that involve integration, commissioning, or onboarding of physical assets.

• Exceptional communication skills for articulating complex technical issues, impacts, stakeholders, and next steps.

• Experience in coordinating multiple teams and dependencies across customers, engineering, hardware, installation partners, and third-party vendors.

• Highly organized, with a sharp attention to detail and the capability to manage multiple sites concurrently.

• Ability to proactively identify risks, eliminate blockers, and sustain delivery momentum.

• Customer-focused and collaborative demeanor.

• Interest in gaining an in-depth understanding of SaaS products.

• Professional fluency in both German and English is required.

• Familiarity with APIs, data flows, system integrations, or cloud software architecture is advantageous.

• Experience in flexible generation, battery storage, renewable energy, demand response, or distributed energy resources is a plus.

• Working knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus or OPC UA is beneficial.

• Proven experience in commissioning or integrating generators, BESS, solar, EV infrastructure, or other industrial energy assets is advantageous.

• Experience with grid-connected assets, control systems, or energy market services is beneficial.

• Experience with SaaS implementation, technical product onboarding, or systems integration is a plus.

• Familiarity with commissioning processes, including cold commissioning, energization, and hot commissioning is beneficial.

• Experience with industrial gateways, edge devices, or IoT connectivity is a plus.
