Delivery Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Transform product and business objectives into reliable, high-quality delivery.

• Take ownership of the delivery strategy across key initiatives, maintaining a focus on business outcomes, clear priorities, and measurable results.

• Lead cross-functional teams comprising engineers, project managers, QA professionals, and security specialists.

• Establish expectations, foster accountability, and eliminate obstacles to delivery.

• Convert strategic goals into actionable plans, managing dependencies and risks while ensuring timely delivery.

• Continuously enhance product delivery from planning and prioritization through execution, release, and post-delivery optimization.

• Supervise process documentation, implementation, and ongoing optimization.

• Spearhead change management initiatives and process quality assurance.

• Oversee and enhance SDLC efficiency, quality, and performance.

• Ensure client satisfaction regarding cost, budget, timelines, and quality metrics.

• Act as the primary point of escalation for clients regarding roadmaps, release schedules, delivery issues, delays, and budget matters.

• Oversee business analysis and design functions.

• Manage and enhance the Service Desk function, focusing on bug resolution, issue response quality, root cause analysis, and resolution processes.

• Supervise internal SaaS/white-label product development, with accountability for quality and budget management.

• Lead resource management and capacity planning across IT functions.

• Ensure effective onboarding, performance tracking, and upskilling across engineering and delivery teams.

• Manage the project management talent lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, evaluation, and replacement.

• Promote cost-effective, timely, and high-quality delivery across both functional and non-functional requirements.

• Align development team composition with required skills and seniority levels.

• Foster a performance-driven, results-oriented culture.

• Collaborate with security leadership to ensure compliance with standards without disrupting delivery timelines.

• Redesign onboarding processes and audit, optimizing project management, SDLC, development structures, resource allocation, Service Desk, cost/performance analytics, and security functions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in delivery, program, project, or product operations roles within a technology or FinTech setting.

• Demonstrated success in delivering complex, cross-functional technology products and initiatives from planning to release.

• Strong business acumen that links product and technology delivery with business objectives and measurable outcomes.

• Experience in owning delivery strategy, priorities, timelines, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations across various initiatives.

• Exceptional leadership abilities to establish clear expectations, drive accountability, and keep teams oriented towards results.

• Experience managing cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product, QA, Security, and other business functions.

• Capacity to translate strategic objectives into clear execution plans, milestones, and measurable delivery targets.

• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive stance on identifying and removing delivery obstacles.

• Practical knowledge of AI and emerging technologies, including opportunities to leverage AI for product delivery, productivity, automation, and decision-making.

• Experience in introducing or driving AI-powered tools and workflows within technology or product teams is a significant advantage.
