This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Drive the agenda for academic excellence and effectiveness at Calbright College.
• Manage the academic program review cycle and processes for evidence-based program evaluation.
• Assist in the development, assessment, and revision of academic programs.
• Offer guidance on optimizing programs, analyzing data, and making evidence-based improvement recommendations.
• Collaborate on the development of operational systems, workflows, reporting infrastructure, and data-driven decision-making.
• Oversee industry Advisory Councils and translate their insights into program enhancements and workforce relevance.
• Support the President and senior leadership on institutional priorities, organizational effectiveness, and emerging opportunities.
• Facilitate strategic initiatives across the institution and prioritize cross-divisional efforts.
• Direct engagement with external advisory councils, ensuring alignment with industry needs, employer partnerships, and program relevance.
• Provide strategic planning, analysis, advisory support, goal-setting, and policy development assistance to the VP of Learning and Instruction and senior leadership.
• Represent the College's commitment to effectiveness, quality, and innovation in external settings.
• Supervise L&I project managers and cross-functional project teams.
• Set project management standards, timelines, and reporting processes.
• Monitor goals, key performance indicators, and operational priorities, providing updates and recommendations to the VP.
• Assist in project evaluation processes that measure effectiveness, outcomes, and organizational impact.
• Act as the primary Accreditation Liaison Officer.
• Coordinate accreditation cycles, self-study evaluations, change requests, program approvals, site visits, and follow-up reports.
• Stay informed about accreditation standards and advise on necessary institutional adjustments.
• Support internal reviews and action plans to ensure standards compliance and promote continuous improvement.
• Collaborate on professional development initiatives for faculty and staff regarding accreditation standards and processes.
• A Master's degree in education, administration, policy, or a related field.
• A minimum of five years of experience in higher education administration.
• Proven leadership in institutional effectiveness, accreditation, academic quality, and/or strategic initiatives.
• Experience leading accreditation processes and acting as a liaison to regional or national accrediting bodies.
• Familiarity with online learning environments and quality standards for distance education.
• A successful track record of cross-functional leadership, project management, and advancing institutional initiatives and operational improvements across diverse stakeholder groups in higher education or a related sector.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards, practices of institutional effectiveness, and continuous improvement frameworks in higher education.
• Understanding of higher education, curriculum development, instructional strategies, and/or assessment practices.
• Strong skills in leadership, management, organization, communication, interpersonal relations, project management, implementation planning, stakeholder coordination, data analysis, reporting, and presentation.
• Familiarity with workforce development, labor market alignment, and/or employer engagement strategies.
• Experience in facilitating advisory groups, committees, councils, or stakeholder engagement processes.
• Proficient in utilizing technology for data management, reporting, and communication.
• Committed to understanding and respecting diverse academic, socio-economic, ethnic, religious, cultural, disability, and sexual orientation backgrounds.
• Ability to operate in a remote online instructional environment and work on a computer for extended durations.
• Capable of lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
• Must adhere to Calbright College policies, procedures, Title IX, and mandated reporter obligations under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act.
• Primarily remote work arrangement.
• Administrative offices in Sacramento are available for use.
