This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +9 more states.
• Deliver strategic quoting and deal-structuring assistance to both US and global sales teams.
• Oversee Deal Desk responsibilities for sales targeting crypto exchanges, fintech, and payment solutions clients.
• Create data-driven analytics, pricing frameworks, approval guidelines, and precedents.
• Collaborate with Legal, Product, Services, Finance, Revenue Operations, Marketing, and Sales Enablement on non-standard SKUs, new offerings, and intricate transactions.
• Acquire knowledge of Chainalysis licensing and pricing models while providing global deal-structuring and quoting assistance.
• Conduct price and discount realization analysis, presenting executive-level summaries with actionable insights.
• Guide Sales teams on handling contract objections, alternative contract options, and best practices for closing deals.
• Act as the Sales point of contact and subject-matter expert/project manager for deal pricing and deviations from standard procedures, information security standards, and SLA/engineering positions.
• Develop analytics, KPIs, business processes, training materials, and a knowledge base addressing deal-cycle issues.
• Establish key strategies for the Deal Desk team and enhance team effectiveness.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to prioritize projects and deals for customer, month-end, quarter-end, and year-end deadlines.
• Mentor and onboard team members while supporting cross-functional projects and initiatives.
• 5–7 years of substantial experience in a Deal Desk role, encompassing related sales operations, enablement, finance, and/or legal processes.
• Specific experience in structuring and quoting complex SaaS transactions for a rapidly growing multinational organization.
• Analytical mindset with proven competency in conducting in-depth analysis and modeling.
• Experience leading stakeholder engagement in cross-functional projects or programs, including gathering, analyzing, prioritizing, and categorizing business requirements.
• Strong understanding of Quote to Order stages within the Lead to Cash lifecycle utilizing Salesforce CRM.
• Familiarity with revenue recognition principles, including GAAP and ASC 606.
• Proficiency in Salesforce and Salesforce CPQ is required.
• Preferred experience in leading a team, with extensive one-on-one mentoring and coaching experience.
• Comfortable representing the company in customer negotiations and resolving customer satisfaction concerns.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and succinctly.
• Outstanding planning, time management, decision-making, presentation, organizational, collaboration, and quantitative skills.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and performing operational troubleshooting as necessary.
• Strong skills in Google Suite and Microsoft Suite.
• Priority given to candidates residing in CST and EST time zones.
