DBA, DB2 LUW

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Administer, configure, and maintain IBM DB2 LUW databases

• Install, upgrade, and apply patches/fix packs

• Manage backup, restore, and database recovery

• Monitor databases and resolve incidents

• Analyze and optimize performance

• Manage tablespaces, storage, logs, and capacity

• Automate administrative tasks through scripting

• Participate in a robust and long-term technology project

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a DBA DB2 LUW

• Administration, configuration, and maintenance of IBM DB2 LUW databases

• Installation, upgrading, and applying patches/fix packs

• Management of backup, restore, and database recovery

• Monitoring and incident resolution

• Performance analysis and tuning

• Management of tablespaces, storage, logs, and capacity

• Experience with Linux/Unix environments

• Knowledge of scripting for automating administrative tasks

• Experience with HADR/high availability and Disaster Recovery is a plus

• Configuration and administration of DB2 environments in high availability

• Experience in migrations or upgrades of DB2 versions

• Knowledge of SQL and query optimization

• Automation using Shell Script, Bash, Python, or similar

• Experience working in critical or high-availability environments
