DBA, DB2 LUW

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Management of IBM DB2 LUW databases in Linux/Unix environments.

• Installation, updates, and application of patches/fix packs.

• Backup, restore, and database recovery management.

• Monitoring databases and resolving incidents.

• Performance analysis and optimization.

• Management of tablespaces, storage, logs, and capacity.

• Automation of administrative tasks through scripting.

• Participation in a solid and long-term technological project.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a DBA DB2 LUW.

• Administration, configuration, and maintenance of IBM DB2 LUW databases.

• Installation, updates, and application of patches/fix packs.

• Management of backup, restore, and database recovery.

• Monitoring and incident resolution.

• Performance analysis and tuning.

• Management of tablespaces, storage, logs, and capacity.

• Experience with Linux/Unix environments.

• Knowledge of scripting for the automation of administrative tasks.

• Experience with HADR/high availability and Disaster Recovery will be valued.

• Configuration and administration of DB2 environments in high availability will be valued.

• Experience in migrations or upgrades of DB2 versions will be valued.

• Knowledge of SQL and query optimization will be valued.

• Automation experience using Shell Script, Bash, Python, or similar will be valued.

• Experience working in critical or high availability environments will be valued.
