DATEV Accountant, m/f/d

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Manage financial accounting independently utilizing DATEV.

• Code and record ongoing business transactions.

• Maintain ledgers for accounts receivable and accounts payable.

• Reconcile accounts and prepare analytical reports.

• Support various reporting activities.

• Assist with monthly and annual closings, which includes account reconciliations, closing entries, and provisions.

• Prepare proposals for payments.

• Manage and monitor collection processes and dunning activities.

• Prepare advance VAT returns.

• Prepare corporate tax returns for smaller entities.

• Collaborate with tax advisors and offer support during audits.

• Communicate effectively with tax authorities.

• Participate in the enhancement and optimization of accounting processes.

• Collaborate closely with experienced partners, especially on more intricate closing issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Around 3–4 years of experience in financial accounting with DATEV.

• Ideally, completion of vocational training in tax or accounting, such as a tax clerk apprenticeship.

• A structured, dependable, and autonomous work approach.

• A passion for teamwork and effective communication with others.

• A strong affinity for digital processes and proficiency in MS Office.
