Database Developer, Data Engineer – PostgreSQL, ETL

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

• Define entities, relationships, keys, and integrity rules.

• Optimize models through normalization, indexing, and partitioning based on project needs.

• Develop ETL processes using Pentaho/Hop for data loading.

• Manage the evolution, versioning, and technical documentation of the model.

• Transform functional requirements into robust, efficient, and maintainable data models.

• Take responsibility for database design and the ETL processes for information loading.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.

• At least 2 years of experience in database design and modeling with PostgreSQL.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience with ETL and Pentaho/Hop.

• Strong knowledge of MySQL and PostgreSQL.

• Experience in data modeling, optimization, and integrity.

• Good analytical skills for data and functional requirements.
