Database Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee and refresh databases, ensuring precise data analysis and reporting.

• Handle data extractions from SAGE Datawarehouse cubes, including troubleshooting, upkeep, and modifications.

• Upgrade server hardware, software, drivers, plug-ins, and maintenance services.

• Manage indexes, adapt to changes in the IT network, and safeguard systems against viruses.

• Supervise hardware and software performance.

• Organize data, ensure secure backups, and adjust server configurations.

• Sustain internal reporting and install-base databases.

• Revise lookup tables, error classifications, and data cubes.

• Generate queries and reports from current cubes.

• Monitor and resolve issues with daily automated reporting jobs.

• Collaborate with other teams on SAGE DW interface concerns and modifications.

• Conduct preventative maintenance and address data bottlenecks and report-generation challenges.

• Refresh stored procedures for Excel reports.

• Implement AI/ML techniques for database optimization, anomaly detection, and predictive maintenance.

• Utilize AI for automated error classification, predictive analytics, intelligent report generation, and recommendation systems.

• Develop and sustain smart dashboards featuring predictive insights and anomaly notifications.

• Employ AI-assisted tools to enhance report queries and data retrieval.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in database schema design, development, and management.

• Experience in database administration and performance optimization with SQL Server, including indexing, query tuning, and backups.

• Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL management, particularly with SAGE DW, cubes, data extraction, and ETL processes.

• Proficient in reporting and SQL development, including complex queries, stored procedures, and automated reporting.

• Background in system monitoring and troubleshooting, encompassing job monitoring, performance tracking, and issue resolution.

• Experience with AI/ML and advanced analytics, including anomaly detection, predictive analytics, AI-driven optimization, and dashboard creation.
