Data Success Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Comprehend the data needs of designated partners and ensure that data-related products and services align with their expectations.

• Build strong relationships with partners through consistent communication and meetings, in collaboration with Partnership Success Managers.

• Assist colleagues on the Partnerships Team and partners with Murmuration’s data management guidelines and procedures.

• Proactively assess partners’ long-term data needs and suggest enhancements or new data solutions.

• Address partner data challenges by coordinating with internal and external parties, including data vendors and technology partners.

• Offer strategic recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of data and database operations.

• Aid in data cleaning and loading, grasp complex data sets, and implement best practices for data management.

• Work alongside the Data Team to prioritize enhancements and improvements to tools and methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.

• Strong communication skills for engagement with internal and external stakeholders.

• Proactive in identifying and resolving data issues within a large, complex data environment.

• Moderate proficiency in SQL, including the ability to create complex queries and manipulate large data sets.

• Moderate experience with scripting languages such as Python.

• Familiarity with voter files, election data, or datasets containing personally identifiable information (PII) is an advantage.

• Experience in executing community or political outreach initiatives on a significant scale is a plus.

• Background in implementing data quality control best practices with both internal and external stakeholders is an asset.

• Experience in training stakeholders with varying levels of data literacy is beneficial.

• Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Sigma or Tableau is a plus.
