Data Sharing Coordinator – PT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Act as the main liaison between the Vanderbilt research team and the Texas A&M TEES team for project-related data-sharing initiatives.

• Engage in monthly meetings focused on data-sharing coordination with the Texas A&M team.

• Collaborate with the Vanderbilt project lead to assess data-sharing activities, identify upcoming requirements, and address pending action items.

• Ensure effective communication regarding data-sharing needs, timelines, and deliverables among the involved teams.

• Monitor action items and follow up with appropriate project personnel.

• Promote continuity and consistency in data-sharing efforts throughout the ARPA-H project.

• Aid in the documentation associated with data-sharing activities and project prerequisites.

• Dedicate approximately 2 hours per month: 1 hour for Texas A&M TEES coordination meetings and 1 hour for internal coordination with the Vanderbilt project lead.

• Functionally report to the Principal Investigator and administratively to the department Administrative Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, biomedical sciences, bioinformatics, computer science, or data science.

• Experience in supporting or coordinating research projects within an academic or research setting.

• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

• Capability to coordinate activities across various research teams and institutions.

• Proficient in tracking project requirements, action items, and deliverables.

• Familiarity with collaborative research projects and scientific data-sharing processes is preferred.

• Previous knowledge of the ARPA-H project and its data-sharing initiatives is preferred.
