This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +45 more states.
β’ Spearhead advanced analytics projects to address intricate business challenges through quantitative analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques.
β’ Conceptualize, create, and implement machine learning models for decision-making systems, recommendation frameworks, anomaly detection, pattern recognition, and forecasting/time series analysis.
β’ Collaborate with business stakeholders to industrialize and capitalize on insights derived from advanced analytics initiatives.
β’ Investigate, apply, and validate methods for causal inference, impact measurement, predictive modeling, clustering, and optimization.
β’ Examine extensive and diverse datasets using statistical inference and data mining methods to uncover relationships, trends, and performance drivers.
β’ Design and sustain scalable end-to-end analytics and machine learning solutions, data processing pipelines, and model lifecycle management practices.
β’ Facilitate both batch and near real-time/streaming data processing within a cloud-based analytics framework.
β’ Architect and oversee lakehouse-style data platform structures, focusing on data quality, schema management, and governance controls.
β’ Employ sampling techniques and experimental or quasi-experimental methodologies for research, analysis, and decision-making.
β’ Convert analytical findings and model insights into straightforward business terminology, effectively communicating results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
β’ Direct requirements analysis, evaluate interdependencies and priorities, and ensure alignment of initiatives with strategic roadmaps and organizational objectives.
β’ Implement Agile software development methodologies in analytics solutions.
β’ Offer technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers or analysts.
β’ Master's degree in Computer or Data Science, Business or Data Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field, along with 3 years of experience in a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, IT Consultant, or similar role.
β’ Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Computer or Data Science, Business or Data Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field, paired with 5 years of experience in a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, IT Consultant, or similar position.
β’ Proficient in advanced analytics and quantitative problem-solving.
β’ Skilled in statistical modeling and statistical inference techniques.
β’ Experience in developing machine learning models.
β’ Familiarity with decision systems and recommendation/next-best-action frameworks.
β’ Knowledge of anomaly detection and pattern recognition techniques.
β’ Expertise in predictive modeling, clustering, and time-series forecasting analysis.
β’ Understanding of causal inference and business impact measurement methodologies.
β’ Experience in data mining and relationship analysis on large datasets.
β’ Proficiency in end-to-end machine learning pipelines and model lifecycle management.
β’ Experience with scalable data processing utilizing distributed data processing frameworks.
β’ Familiarity with batch and near real-time/streaming data processing.
β’ Knowledge of modern data platform architectures, including lakehouse-style data frameworks.
β’ Experience with Agile software development practices and providing technical leadership.
