Data Scientist – Kaggle, DrivenData

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Create reproducible environments

• Gather necessary data and dependencies

• Develop reference implementations

• Design tests and evaluation metrics to differentiate between valid solutions and those that are incomplete or flawed

• Execute coding agents on tasks and analyze failures

• Improve tasks based on observed performance

• Detect implementation mistakes, incorrect assumptions, data leakage, and other issues affecting correctness

• Record task specifications, solution rationale, and verification procedures

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in data science, machine learning, quantitative modeling, or related research competitions

• Familiarity with competition platforms such as Kaggle, DrivenData, Zindi, AIcrowd, Numerai, DataSource.ai, and CodaLab/Codabench

• Strong problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of the applicable methods

• Adequate programming skills to implement and validate personal solutions
