This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Develop and enhance fraud prevention intelligence.
• Mitigate financial losses and decrease chargebacks.
• Detect weaknesses in protective measures.
• Suggest corrective and preventive strategies.
• Design, implement, and advance recommendation models for various use cases and channels, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and quality.
• Establish success metrics, including precision, recall, and business impact.
• Organize and refine the alert monitoring and prioritization process, boosting the team's operational efficiency.
• Create and enhance procedures for assessing, validating, and overseeing fraud detection models and rules.
• Assist in the technical development of less experienced analysts by sharing expertise and best practices.
• Strong understanding of statistics and experience in applying Machine Learning techniques to fraud detection.
• Proficient in Python and ML libraries, including Scikit-learn, XGBoost, and related tools.
• Skilled in SQL for handling large data sets using Spark, Databricks, and BigQuery.
• Capable of translating technical insights into business implications.
• Experience in merchant acquiring or with card-present and card-not-present transactions (credit and debit) is a plus.
• Familiarity with decision engines such as Feedzai, FICO, ClearSale, or Cybersource is advantageous.
• Experience in structuring fraud prevention policies, procedures, and processes is a plus.
