πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Oversee the creation of statistical, machine learning, and, when prioritized, AI models that support TTA reporting, trend analysis, and generate actionable insights.

β€’ Ensure that each AI use case is thoroughly documented and can be easily explained.

β€’ Define anticipated outcomes, establish baselines, design experimental frameworks, and outline validation strategies prior to deployment.

β€’ Create methodologies for assessing uncertainty and tracking model performance.

β€’ Develop and sustain comprehensive model documentation.

β€’ Collaborate with the Senior Data Analyst on data definitions, data quality, and the responsible interpretation of analytical results.

β€’ Clearly communicate analytical findings and their implications to program leaders.

β€’ Prototype and implement approved analytical and modeling strategies in partnership with engineering and security team members.

β€’ Design and apply tests that address data leakage, bias, privacy, and performance issues.

β€’ Advocate for reproducibility and proper validation throughout the entire analytics and modeling lifecycle.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in applied statistics or data science, including expertise in production machine learning or advanced analytics and model validation.

β€’ A Bachelor's degree in statistics, data science, computer science, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent demonstrated experience.

β€’ Significant experience with statistical modeling and regression techniques.

β€’ Experience in designing and assessing experiments.

β€’ Familiarity with optimization methodologies.

β€’ Proficiency in Python or R programming languages.

β€’ Experience with cloud data warehouses.

β€’ Experience handling distributed data environments.

β€’ Proven experience in analytical and model validation.

β€’ Experience in developing reproducible analytical processes.

β€’ U.S. citizenship is required.

β€’ Capability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and secure a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) card.

β€’ Preferred: an advanced degree in statistics, data science, computer science, or another relevant quantitative discipline.

β€’ Preferred: experience in evaluating human-services programs.

β€’ Preferred: experience with responsible AI governance.

β€’ Preferred: experience applying Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques to narrative reports.

β€’ Preferred: experience with operational machine learning monitoring.
