Data Scientist II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create diagnostic, descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive models and analyses using statistical methods and machine learning techniques to facilitate data-driven decision-making.

• Continuously enhance current models.

• Develop intricate statistical models for targeted business challenges, focused on increasing automatic approvals for very low-risk cases.

• Execute model projects with exceptional quality and efficiency, fulfilling the specific demands and requirements of each segment.

• Maintain awareness of emerging practices in data science.

• Utilize statistical sampling and modeling techniques to uncover opportunities for business improvement.

• Employ clustering methods to identify customer profiles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, or related disciplines.

• Understanding of data science algorithms and proficiency in coding with Python.

• Familiarity with version control and code review tools such as GitHub and GitLab.

• Knowledge of monitoring models in a production environment.

• Familiarity with experimentation methodologies, including A/B testing.

• Experience in creating data products.

• Proficient in managing large datasets and using tools like Spark and Dask.

• Knowledge of SQL and data science toolkits such as scikit-learn, pandas, and notebooks.

• Understanding of predictive modeling.

• Postgraduate degree in data science-related fields is an advantage.

• Experience in deploying models to production and methodologies for testing data products is a plus.

• Experience in product development and working with machine learning orchestration frameworks like Kubeflow, Airflow, and MLflow is a plus.
