Data Scientist I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical, analytical, and lifecycle support to the Maritime Electronic Warfare Systems Division (MEWSD) for U.S. Navy Electromagnetic Warfare, Decoy, and SEWIP systems.

• Assist with engineering, technology transition, installation, logistics, product support, testing and evaluation, sustainment, maintenance, and repairs throughout the system lifecycle.

• Formulate analytical techniques and applications that convert raw data into actionable insights.

• Utilize data mining, data modeling, statistical analysis, natural language processing, and machine learning on both structured and unstructured datasets.

• Gather, process, integrate, analyze, and interpret complex datasets through data-oriented programming languages and analytical tools.

• Create data models and algorithms to uncover trends, patterns, relationships, anomalies, risks, and performance metrics.

• Design data visualizations, dashboards, and dynamic reports for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Deliver data-backed findings and recommendations that enhance system performance, readiness, reliability, maintainability, and operational availability.

• Combine logistics, engineering, maintenance, reliability, and operational data for lifecycle management and sustainment analysis.

• Ensure analytical processes, models, and reporting solutions are repeatable and standardized.

• Collaborate with logisticians, engineers, operations research analysts, and program personnel.

• Prepare and present technical reports, analyses, visualizations, and briefings.
