This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Execute advanced and predictive data analytics utilizing big data and data science technologies to drive healthcare innovation.
• Analyze both structured and unstructured data sets.
• Create algorithms tailored to specific business requirements.
• Design and develop data models aimed at predicting member outcomes or assessing the future impact of significant member decisions.
• Construct analytical tools to extract, analyze data, and appropriately store analytical results.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis from intricate data sources and build essential data sets for operational evaluation.
• Assess and design experiments to track key metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop mathematical and statistical models to identify relevant content or events and detect patterns.
• Engage in presentations and communicate research analysis and findings effectively.
• Contribute to the design of automated operational analytics processes to achieve scalability and sustainability.
• Must possess authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring employment-based visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
• Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Informatics, Econometrics, Engineering, or Experimental Science, accompanied by 1+ years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in quantitative analysis.
• Proficiency in data science capabilities, including data mining, predictive modeling, machine learning, statistical modeling, large-scale data acquisition, transformation, and analysis of both structured and unstructured data.
• Experience with database technologies.
• Proficient in programming with R, Python, and SQL.
• Familiarity with R Studio.
• Knowledge and ability to utilize Databricks volumes/delta tables and notebooks.
• Familiarity with and ability to utilize Snowflake.
• Experience in predictive modeling, exploratory data analysis, and data visualization.
