Data Scientist – Freelance, Python, Docker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Design data analysis solutions and statistical modeling to support business processes within a Telco project

• Develop software using Python

• Implement statistical analyses

• Collaborate with technical teams to create data-driven solutions

• Contribute to the evolution of analytical tools

• Manage data effectively

• Adopt best development practices in structured environments

• Participate in the selection process through HR interviews and peer technical evaluations

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or related fields

• At least 2 years of experience as a Data Scientist, Data Engineer, or Software Developer with a focus on data

• Excellent knowledge of Python for statistical analysis and application development

• Experience using Git for code versioning

• Familiarity with containerized environments and tools such as Docker

• Good command of the English language (B2 level)

• Nice to have: Experience in the Telecommunications/ISP sector

• Nice to have: Experience in Data Engineering contexts

• Nice to have: Familiarity with large-scale data processing architectures and processes
