This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Investigate, prototype, and validate analytical techniques and LLM applications within the realms of political, media, and advertising data.
• Construct proof-of-concept tools, features, and datasets.
• Refine tools and datasets based on input from digital practitioners.
• Develop validated methodologies into modular, robust, and well-documented pipelines and applications suitable for production environments.
• Create software through agentic development workflows, resulting in well-defined, reviewable, tested, and documented code.
• Critically analyze data and convey findings, trade-offs, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate directly with the Senior Director of R&D.
• Assist R&D initiatives to prototype next-generation digital intelligence tools and experiment with data methodologies for digital campaigns.
• Proficient programming skills in SQL and Python.
• Proven ability to implement statistical and data science methods in real-world scenarios.
• Strong software engineering practices, including version control, code review, testing, and thorough documentation.
• Practical experience using LLMs in actual projects, encompassing prompt and context engineering, classification or extraction pipelines, model-output evaluation, or agentic frameworks.
• Familiarity with agentic software development tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex.
• Experience with GCP and preferably AWS, including the construction and maintenance of data pipelines.
• Proficient in using Git and GitHub.
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration abilities.
• Demonstrated curiosity and self-initiated exploration through side projects, prototypes, experiments, or similar evidence.
• Experience in communicating with diverse groups and working within a multicultural workforce.
• Awareness and appreciation of cultural differences.
• Contractors must be located within the United States.
• Availability for regular check-ins during Eastern Time business hours.

• Preferred: experience in digital advertising, media performance, social listening, or media consumption data.
• Preferred: experience with political, advocacy, campaign, or voter-file data.
• Preferred: experience with containerization and orchestration.
• Preferred: experience in developing front-end applications or dashboards.
• Preferred: experience in constructing evaluation frameworks or benchmarks for LLM or ML systems.
• Compensation ranging from $125–175 per hour.
• Compensated take-home exercise for selected candidates.
