This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Conduct research, design, develop, implement, and test econometric, statistical, optimization, and machine learning models.
• Acquire a thorough understanding of PPM sampling methodologies and establish expertise in Audience Measurement, particularly in panel management strategies.
• Execute queries on extensive relational databases for various analyses and requests.
• Utilize Python, Tableau, R, and other tools for intricate data analysis and visualizations.
• Supervise, maintain, and enhance data algorithms for managing PPM Sample Methodology in a high-pressure production setting.
• Regularly update and maintain departmental procedures, checklists, and metrics.
• Participate in interdepartmental teams to propose, assess, and implement new initiatives.
• Assist in writing requirements, alongside new software development and testing processes.
• Address internal and external client inquiries with data-driven solutions.
• Integrate quality checks to identify and rectify errors in production processing and analysis.
• Facilitate code reviews and advocate for modular coding, unit testing, and CI/CD best practices to ensure product quality, stability, and scalability.
• A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Data Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Over 3 years of professional experience in Statistics, Data Science, or related fields, emphasizing the delivery of analytical software solutions in a production setting.
• More than 3 years of experience in manipulating, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sources.
• At least 3 years of programming experience in Python, PySpark, and SQL for developing data pipelines that support analytics.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in data visualization using Tableau and/or similar tools.
• Familiarity with cloud-based environments such as AWS.
• Experience with DevOps tools, code management, and CI/CD workflows using GitLab or comparable tools.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Well-organized with clear communication skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to explore new solutions and a commitment to rapid iteration based on customer feedback.
• Strategic mindset and an understanding of how data insights impact product and business objectives.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to address problems independently as well as within a cross-functional team.
• Nice to have: working knowledge of ANOVA, Chi-squared, correlation, regression, and Student t-test.
• Nice to have: expertise in querying large datasets using SQL and experience with Oracle/Netezza/Data Warehouse and Data Lake structures.
