This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Analyze and validate data related to healthcare, clinical settings, and genomics to facilitate research and informed business decisions.
• Construct, test, and implement machine learning models that provide actionable insights.
• Develop AI and large language model (LLM) solutions utilizing prompt engineering techniques.
• Conduct statistical analyses and convert findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Design dashboards, reports, and visual representations tailored for both technical and business audiences.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, clinical, and scientific teams to address intricate data challenges.
• Write production-ready code while supporting various analytics initiatives.
• Provide data-driven recommendations that enhance research, clinical development, and patient care.
• A Master’s degree with over 2 years of relevant experience, a bachelor’s degree with more than 4 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience is required.
• Proven experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Analytics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• Strong programming skills in Python or R are essential.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries.
• Experience in applying statistical methods to analyze data and derive insights.
• Familiarity with creating data visualizations, dashboards, or analytical reports is required.
• Background in developing or supporting machine learning models is preferred.
• Preferred qualifications include a Master's or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or another quantitative field.
• Additional preferences include experience with NLP, deep learning, Random Forests, or Gradient Boosting.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and prompt engineering is preferred.
• Familiarity with cloud-based analytics environments, such as Azure Databricks or similar platforms, is preferred.
• Knowledge of Git, Docker, Airflow, or MLOps frameworks is desirable.
• Experience with healthcare, clinical, genomic, oncology, or precision medicine data is preferred.
• Understanding of healthcare data standards, clinical research, EMR data, or HIPAA regulations is preferred.
