Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Enhance machine learning models to adaptively adjust rates across all markets.

• Optimize fleet repositioning algorithms to maximize overall rental volume.

• Transition ML models from initial research and development to production monitoring.

• Create scalable data pipelines to facilitate A/B testing and assess algorithm performance.

• Establish clear KPIs and develop trustworthy dashboards for real-time visibility in the marketplace.

• Shape product strategy and influence key business decisions.

• Implement algorithms in production to manage fleet operations.

• Address complex marketplace dynamics across various international markets.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or equivalent).

• Over 3 years of practical data science experience addressing real-world business challenges.

• Proficient in Python, with the ability to write production-level code.

• Experience with operational live production ML systems is highly advantageous.

• Strong SQL skills (Databricks or similar).

• Familiarity with business intelligence tools (Tableau or equivalent).

• Excellent statistical analysis capabilities.

• Proficiency in English.

• Proven ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
