Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with clients, frequently interacting with non-technical staff, to comprehend data science requirements, propose solutions, and deliver results promptly.

• Lead and/or design tasks involving machine learning, statistical analysis, and data analysis.

• Perform custom or utilize existing Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes to consolidate data from various sources and prepare data to yield innovative insights.

• Analyze data, identify key features, and model variables.

• Evaluate the quality of model outputs, create alternatives, and implement corrective actions.

• Establish and execute quality control and assurance procedures.

• Create reports, visualizations, infographics, and charts to effectively communicate results and findings.

• Automate standard workflows and data analysis steps, enabling clients to meet their needs independently.

⛳️ Requirements

• Capability to undergo a Public Trust investigation.

• Master's degree or PhD in machine learning, mathematics, data science, computer science, or a closely related discipline.

• At least 10 years of hands-on ML/AI experience.

• Proven experience in developing and validating predictive models.

• Experience in government or safety-critical systems.

• Knowledge of NIST AI RMF.

• High proficiency in Java, Python, R, and/or Visual Basic.

• Excellent communication abilities.

• Skill in discussing and deriving requirements from non-technical clients and translating them into relevant tasks.

• Interest in Big Data and Cloud environments, specifically Amazon Web Services.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

• Openness to acquiring new skills and technologies rapidly.

• Ability to engage with clients to refine requirements.

• Skill in breaking down client requirements into specific tasks.
