This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Execute all duties and responsibilities as a Data Scientist / Analyst for the Aviation Cost Evaluation System (ACES) program.
β’ Design, create, and implement models that facilitate real-time decision-making.
β’ Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to address operational challenges.
β’ Construct and enhance analytics workflows within Advana and Jupiter.
β’ Generate dashboards and visualizations utilizing Databricks, PySpark, Tableau, or Power BI.
β’ Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and subject matter experts to convert requirements into practical solutions.
β’ Ensure the integrity, security, and compliance of data.
β’ Automate the ingestion and transformation of data pipelines for large-scale datasets.
β’ Perform data analysis and deliver actionable insights and recommendations.
β’ Work with various data sources and accurately collect, transform, and load data.
β’ Clean and preprocess datasets.
β’ Employ statistical techniques to interpret and validate trends, patterns, and anomalies.
β’ Prepare reports and presentations tailored for non-technical stakeholders.
β’ Acquire knowledge of ACES functional concepts, business processes, and applications.
β’ Formulate, document, and adhere to specifications for programming, testing, and debugging.
β’ Maintain and update documentation related to database activities.
β’ Communicate issues, status updates, recommendations, and reports effectively.
β’ Take ownership of tasks and issues, managing and resolving them while leading small groups.
β’ A minimum of Secret clearance is required to commence employment.
β’ Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, including the Advana and Jupiter platforms.
β’ Demonstrated experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
β’ Strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
β’ Ability to derive meaningful conclusions from data.
β’ Proficiency in Databricks.
β’ Expertise in data cleaning, transformation, and statistical analysis.
β’ Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
β’ Capability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
β’ Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
β’ Strong problem-solving aptitude.
β’ Bachelorβs Degree from an accredited institution in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
