Data Science and Analytics Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

• Execute clearly defined analytical tasks with guidance.

• Provide precise, dependable, and timely analytical results that aid business decisions.

• Gather, assess, and verify data for business projects.

• Utilize statistical and analytical methodologies to solve business challenges and generate actionable insights.

• Assist in the development and ongoing enhancement of scalable, repeatable analytical procedures.

• Partner with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders.

• Share progress updates, highlight obstacles, and ensure analytical solutions align with organizational objectives.

• Present findings and recommendations through comprehensive documentation and presentations.

• Continuously enhance technical and analytical skills.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.

• A minimum of one year of professional experience in data analysis, data science, or a similar role.

• Basic understanding of data analysis and statistical methods.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience in collaborative team settings.

• Foundational to intermediate knowledge of data analysis and statistical techniques.

• Foundational to intermediate proficiency in at least one programming language relevant to data analysis, such as Python or R.

• Foundational to intermediate proficiency in SQL or a comparable data-querying language.

• Capability to prepare, analyze, and validate data.

• Ability to adhere to established coding, documentation, and data quality standards.
