This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Croatia.

• Develop, construct, and enhance scalable data integration pipelines from cloud, on-premise, and API sources.

• Refine and cleanse raw data to support advanced analytics and business intelligence initiatives.

• Automate manual data preparation processes utilizing modern data architectures and tools.

• Oversee system performance, identify bottlenecks, and enhance workflows.

• Establish data quality checks and governance standards to maintain data integrity.

• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to enhance machine learning models.

• Empower business stakeholders to effectively utilize data.

• Work in close partnership with IT and business stakeholders to implement reliable data solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.

• Demonstrated experience in data management, encompassing data integration, modeling, optimization, and quality assurance.

• Experience in developing analytical platforms that yield tangible business value.

• Strong background in collaborating with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders on enterprise data initiatives.

• In-depth understanding of Data Warehouse, Data Lake/Lakehouse, Data Fabric, Data Mesh, and MPP engines.

• Proficient in SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Hadoop, Kafka, Airflow, and Spark.

• Intermediate familiarity with BI tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Looker.

• Experience in creating data solutions that support AI, ML, and BI initiatives.

• Basic knowledge of Python, R, Databricks, TensorFlow, SAS, or similar tools.

• Exceptional problem-solving and debugging abilities.

• Strong communication skills for articulating complex technical concepts to executives, business, IT, and quantitative stakeholders.
