Data Migration Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Migrate, replicate, update, and oversee records between BodyShop Booster and external customer systems.

• Examine source data to guarantee complete and precise transfer to destination platforms.

• Collaborate with external management systems, reporting tools, and collision-industry platforms like CCC ONE.

• Preserve customer, vehicle, repair, appointment, and related operational information across various systems.

• Reconcile data to detect missing, duplicated, inconsistent, or erroneous records.

• Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective measures.

• Adhere to documented workflows and fulfill customer-specific requirements.

• Manage PII and confidential customer information per security and privacy standards.

• Document completed migrations, updates, exceptions, and unresolved matters.

• Elevate system issues, unexpected data behaviors, or workflow inconsistencies.

• Achieve turnaround-time expectations while maintaining exceptional accuracy.

• Support migration processes, documentation, checklists, and quality control procedures.

• Partner with Customer Experience, Support, Implementation, Product, and Engineering teams on data and integration challenges.

• Experience in data migration, data entry, record synchronization, data reconciliation, or similar processes.

• Proven experience handling confidential and personally identifiable information (PII).

• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

• Competence in following detailed procedures and customer-specific guidelines.

• Strong problem-solving abilities when records mismatch or expected data is missing.

• Capacity to work independently and take full ownership of assigned tasks.

• Proficient written communication and documentation skills.

• Experience with CCC ONE or collision repair management systems is preferred, but not mandatory.

• Prior experience in the collision repair or automotive industry is preferred, but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with APIs, integrations, data mapping, structured data, or system-to-system synchronization is preferred, but not mandatory.

• Experience with CRM, reporting, or business management platforms is preferred, but not mandatory.

• Experience dealing with regulated, sensitive, or privacy-controlled customer information is preferred, but not mandatory.

• Knowledge of quality assurance or data validation processes is preferred, but not mandatory.
