Data Integrity Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Assess, analyze, design, implement, and sustain environmental databases.

• Apply database management principles, storage techniques, query/retrieval methods, statistical analysis, and programming languages to conduct analyses.

• Formulate plans and recommendations.

• Generate necessary documentation.

• Adhere to project specifications, including input/output data formats, content, and functionality of computer programs.

• Create clear and precise tables, data plots, maps, and various graphics.

• Assist the Department of Health and Human Services Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Unified Case Management mission.

• Operate remotely 100% of the time with less than 10% travel required.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

• Over 5 years of relevant experience as outlined in the job qualifications.

• At least 4 years of experience in the specific detailed requirements.

• Background in building and maintaining ETL pipelines utilizing AWS, Snowflake, and PostgreSQL.

• Experience in implementing automated data validation processes.

• Proficiency in creating dashboards and automating reporting pipelines.

• Capability to pass a CMS background check.

• Must have lived in the United States for at least 3 of the past 5 years.

• Work visa sponsorship is not required.

• Strong customer service and communication skills, including the ability to present to all levels of leadership.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Previous experience in a CMS environment handling Medicare/Medicaid claims and related data.

• Familiarity with the Agile framework.

• NACI (T1) public trust requirement is necessary.

• Availability during Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm EST core hours is required.

• Master’s degree is preferred.

• Over 5 years of experience is preferred.
