This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create, develop, and sustain scalable ETL/ELT data integration pipelines.
• Facilitate comprehensive data pipeline components for ingestion, validation, transformation, cleansing, and the development of curated data layers.
• Oversee, maintain, and enhance production data pipelines along with scheduled workflows.
• Generate and manage technical documentation for pipelines, workflows, and data models.
• Build tools and frameworks for automated data profiling, data quality monitoring, and unit testing.
• Collaborate with implementation teams to identify and rectify data discrepancies during onboarding and integration processes.
• Work alongside product engineering teams to ensure precise data capture and alignment with application specifications and business requirements.
• Assist analytics and customer success teams with troubleshooting, reporting needs, and client data inquiries.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in data engineering, data integration, or a related position.
• Strong expertise in SQL, encompassing complex queries, data transformation, and query performance optimization.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and services, especially AWS (e.g., S3, Secrets Manager/Vault, DMS, or similar services).
• Practical experience with modern data warehousing platforms such as Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Amazon Redshift, or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining Apache Airflow workflow orchestration pipelines, including DAG development and operational support.
• Proficient in using dbt to develop, test, and manage modular SQL-based data transformation models.
• Familiar with version control systems and collaborative development workflows utilizing GitHub or Bitbucket.
• Proficient in Python for data manipulation, automation, and integration tasks.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and automation tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred: experience in supporting data quality monitoring, data observability, or automated validation frameworks.
• Preferred: familiarity with data science or machine learning workflows from a data engineering perspective.
• Preferred: experience working with healthcare-related datasets, including claims, clinical, or regulatory data.
