Data Integration Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of application integrations under the supervision of senior team members.

• Support A2A integrations across various scenarios, including cloud-to-cloud, cloud-to-on-premise, and on-premise-to-on-premise.

• Aid in the transition of legacy integration processes to a centralized and standardized platform.

• Help with the collection and documentation of reference data sources, as well as support reference and master data management strategies.

• Construct data integration pipelines utilizing contemporary data engineering tools and methodologies.

• Develop and uphold data workflows while automating recurring processes.

• Create data processing solutions using tools such as Azure Data Factory, Boomi, Snaplogic, Workato, or equivalent.

• Adhere to data governance, privacy, and security standards.

• Assist with CI/CD pipelines for the integration and deployment of data solutions.

• Work collaboratively with senior engineers as well as business and technical teams during large-scale enterprise transformations.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.

• 3–5 years of experience in application integration, data engineering, or systems engineering.

• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Boomi, Snaplogic, Workato, or similar data/application integration tools.

• Proficient in SQL and Python.

• Experience with relational databases.

• Foundational knowledge in data analysis, profiling, mapping, and ETL processes.

• Basic understanding of CI/CD practices and tools.

• Capability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data quality.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively across business and technical teams.

• Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a dynamic project environment while learning rapidly.

• Preferred: familiarity with Azure Fabric or other cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Preferred: exposure to HRIS, Finance, Legal, or Professional Services Automation systems.

• Preferred: understanding of data governance or master data management principles.

• Preferred: interest in or coursework related to insurance, risk management, or financial services.

• Preferred: knowledge of regulatory requirements pertaining to data privacy and security.
