Data Integration and Governance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Enhance data pipelines by implementing automation and quality assurance measures to guarantee accuracy, consistency, and dependability throughout the data processing workflow.

• Minimize manual involvement and decrease data-processing inaccuracies.

• Transition legacy systems to modern systems by conducting analysis, facilitating seamless data transfer, and ensuring integration.

• Improve system performance while ensuring continuity without interrupting current operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline is preferred; however, equivalent practical experience will be considered.

• 4 to 7 years of experience in a Data Engineer role.

• Proficient in working with cloud-based data platforms and environments.

• Strong SQL skills with a background in data modeling for data warehouses.

• Excellent Python skills, particularly in notebooks, for the development and maintenance of data workflows.

• Experience in developing and maintaining ETL/ELT processes.

• Familiarity with data warehouses utilized by reporting and business teams.

• Proficient in using Git/GitHub for version control in collaborative settings.

• Knowledge of pipeline orchestration and dependency management.

• Understanding of the fundamentals of data quality, validation, and monitoring.

• Hands-on experience with data migration, including schema mapping and transformation.

• Strong skills in data reconciliation and validation.

• Experience with data quality checks, integrity validation, and resolving issues.

• Proficiency in backfills and managing historical data.

• Experience in cutover planning and execution.

• Skilled in building and maintaining automated data pipelines.

• Experience with scheduling, orchestration, and handling failures.

• Knowledge of workflow reliability, monitoring, and ensuring repeatability.

• Exceptional command of English, both written and spoken.

• Availability from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Time.

• Must possess a stable internet connection and a professional remote working setup.
