This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

• Support the maintenance and enhancement of data warehousing systems utilizing AWS DMS and Redshift.

• Oversee data pipelines, detect issues, and resolve basic problems.

• Develop and refine SQL queries for analytics and data verification.

• Work alongside engineers and analysts to comprehend data requirements and assist with use cases.

• Engage in testing, documentation, and reliability enhancements for data systems.

• Recognize and automate repetitive manual tasks to decrease operational overhead and boost team efficiency.

• Explore and familiarize yourself with new tools and technologies within the data ecosystem.

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Fundamental understanding of relational databases, including MySQL, Postgres, and relational concepts.

• Basic knowledge of NoSQL databases.

• Acquainted with at least one programming language, such as Python or Go.

• Interest in data infrastructure, distributed systems, or backend engineering.

• Proven experience with Claude or similar large language model tools is essential.

• Comfortable utilizing AI to improve productivity, research, and communication.

• Experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS.

• Basic comprehension of data pipelines or ETL concepts.

• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.

• Interest in big data or streaming technologies like Kafka, Kinesis Streams, or Flink.
