Data Engineer – Reporting & Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Deliver innovative reporting and analytics solutions that meet essential business reporting needs.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and analysts to convert reporting requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Maintain, enhance, and optimize reporting datasets, SQL queries, data models, and overall reporting performance.

• Assist in the migration and modernization of reporting solutions from legacy BI platforms to Tableau and other contemporary technologies.

• Develop and refine data pipelines, analytical datasets, and reporting frameworks that support management reporting, KPIs, and self-service analytics.

• Contribute to the governance of reporting, ensuring data quality, lineage, controls, and consistency across all reporting outputs.

• Play a role in shaping future reporting architecture as the organization progresses in its data and analytics transformation journey.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Data Engineering, Reporting, Analytics, or Business Intelligence environments.

• Proficient SQL and database development skills, preferably within Oracle ecosystems.

• Experience in building and optimizing reporting datasets and data pipelines.

• Practical expertise with Tableau and modern reporting solutions.

• Proven experience in supporting reporting modernization or migration projects.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proficient English communication skills.

• Experience in Financial Services, Financial Reporting, Management Information, or Corporate Functions environments would be highly advantageous.
