Data Engineer L4 – Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable data pipelines along with data integration processes.

• Construct and enhance solutions utilizing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.

• Develop and oversee data models and extensive enterprise datasets.

• Create solutions for data processing, transformation, and delivery tailored for analytical use.

• Engage in the implementation and advancement of ETL/ELT processes.

• Ensure the quality, consistency, security, and governance of data.

• Identify problems, conduct root cause analyses, and optimize data processes.

• Provide support to Analytics teams, Data Architecture, and business sectors with dependable information.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary and global teams within agile frameworks.

• Take part in initiatives aimed at continuous improvement, innovation, and the evolution of the data platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Data Engineer in enterprise settings.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Advanced proficiency in Google BigQuery, Google Dataflow, and Looker.

• Strong expertise in advanced SQL, data modeling, data architecture, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration/transformation.

• Experience in constructing and maintaining comprehensive data pipelines.

• Familiarity with Data Quality, Data Governance, data security, and contemporary data platforms.

• Background in working with agile methodologies.

• Proficient in English for effective communication with international teams.

• Experience with Python or other programming languages used in data engineering is advantageous.

• Knowledge of modern cloud data architectures is a plus.

• Experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and Big Data technologies is a bonus.

• Google Cloud (GCP) certifications will be regarded as a plus.
