Data Engineer, French Speaker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovenia.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, test, and implement data integration solutions utilizing PowerCenter or comparable ETL tools.

• Design and enhance PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, and queries.

• Engage in data warehouse modeling and its ongoing development.

• Work alongside business and technical teams to convert data requirements into actionable technical solutions.

• Maintain, support, and improve current data pipelines.

• Identify and resolve data-related issues and ETL pipeline challenges.

• Apply and uphold best practices in data quality, governance, and security.

• Contribute to the design and development of Power BI dashboards and reports.

• Share technical knowledge and potentially mentor junior colleagues.

⛳️ Requirements

• A higher education degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a relevant field.

• At least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, ETL Developer, or a similar position.

• Extensive expertise in a primary ETL tool; experience with PowerCenter is highly beneficial.

• Familiarity with additional ETL tools is an advantage.

• Exceptional proficiency in PL/SQL.

• Strong knowledge of Oracle is highly recommended.

• Comprehensive understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling as well as data warehouse design.

• Acquainted with database management systems such as Oracle.

• Experience with Power BI is optional.

• Fluent in French, both written and spoken.

• B2 proficiency level in English.

• Demonstrated autonomy, attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively.
