Data Engineer, DBT Database

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines.

• Construct and oversee data transformation and modeling processes utilizing dbt (Data Build Tool).

• Guarantee data reliability, consistency, and quality across various database environments.

• Enhance data workflows and transformation processes for improved performance and scalability.

• Diagnose and resolve data-related issues and pipeline failures.

• Partner with both business and technical stakeholders to provide high-quality data solutions.

• Assist in data integration activities and the continuous operation of the data platform.

• Contribute to the establishment of data engineering best practices and standards.

• Handle multiple priorities and deliver solutions within agreed timelines.

• Operate independently and proactively to identify and tackle data challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in Data Engineering roles.

• Engineering degree required.

• Strong hands-on experience with dbt (Data Build Tool) for data transformation and modeling.

• Proven track record in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.

• In-depth knowledge of database environments and data engineering principles.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently and effectively manage priorities.

• Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.

• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Flexibility to work from any location.

• Proficiency in English at the C1 level (mandatory).
