Data Engineer – Databricks, Treasury Data Lake

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data ingestion pipelines from multiple source systems.

• Transform and manage data across the Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.

• Implement automated data quality validation processes.

• Develop monitoring and alert mechanisms to ensure data accuracy, reliability, integrity, and availability.

• Optimize data pipelines to enhance performance and scalability.

• Apply best practices in data engineering for platform development and operations.

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve data processing issues.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.

• Support efficient, secure, and reliable data operations in a modern cloud analytics environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of experience in Data Engineering roles.

• Required educational background: Engineer.

• Professional English proficiency, level C1 (mandatory).

• Solid knowledge and practical experience with Databricks.

• Experience in designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines.

• Experience in data transformation processes using Bronze, Silver, and Gold architectures.

• Knowledge of automated data quality validation, monitoring, and alerts.

• Experience in optimizing data processing performance and scalability.

• Ability to troubleshoot complex data processing issues.

• Understanding of modern cloud-based analytics environments.

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
